Anne Meis, NSB Vice Chair, brought a powerful voice to CrushCon 2023 in vibrant Lima, Peru. The event gathered industry leaders including soybean crushers, oil refiners, food service operators, food manufacturers, food and agricultural associations and international speakers from around the world.

Dr. Terry Hejny, Director of the Nebraska LEAD program provides and update and a call to action. The Nebraska LEAD Program began 42 years ago to develop agricultural leaders from Nebraska's future generations.

Jason Penke, farmer and new chairman of the Nebraska Soybean Board (NSB) from Craig, reviews their latest meeting. NSB looks forward to a productive and prosperous year ahead under the guidance of its newly elected leadership team and ongoing strategic plan.

Wesley Wach, demand and utilization coordinator for the Nebraska Soybean Board reviews the recent U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) Strategic Planning conference in New Orleans. The conference covered a range of topics impacting global demand for U.S. pork, beef and lamb.

Greg Greving, a farmer from Chapman has been re-appointed to the United Soybean Board. Greving, an experienced soybean farmer with over 40 years of experience in soybean production, is set to commence another three-year term. The newly appointed and reappointed farmer-leaders will be sworn in for service during the USB December Meeting in St. Charles, Mo.
