The Nebraska Soybean Association (NSA) is a statewide, not-for-profit, grassroot membership organization organized in 1969. NSA develops and implements policies to improve the profitability of its members and the entire soybean industry. NSA is one of 26 soybean producing states affiliated with the American Soybean Association. NSA Mission: To Improve Competitiveness and Profitability of the Nebraska Soybean Producers One vote in the halls of Congress can have as much to do with your profitability as all the work you put into your crop. That's why your membership in the Nebraska Soybean Association/American Soybean Association is so important. Policy has a direct effect on your bottom line Like it or not, what happens in Washington, DC has a lot to do with your profitability. NSA/ASA work to create policy and legislation that increase demand for soybeans - and increase the price you get for your crop. The soybean checkoff can't do what NSA/ASA does By law, not one dime of soybean checkoff money can be used to develop policy or influence legislation. NSA/ASA serve as the voice of soybean growers on Capitol Hill and in Nebraska's State Capitol. There is real power in numbers A greater number of grassroot growers united on behalf of the soybean industry truly does have an effect on Congress - and gets things done on Capitol Hill.
